2006 Larrivee LSV-11
2006 Larrivee LSV-11
Founded by Jean Larrivée in the late 1960s, Larrivée guitars has built a reputation for producing instruments that combine excellent tone woods with simple, easy to play construction for guitars that pack a punch way above their price point. With roots in both Canada and the U.S., Larrivée guitars are some of the best value-for-money guitars on the market today.
The LSV-11 is a rare gem within the Larrivée lineup. Designed in the comfortable L-body shape with a Venetian cutaway, it offers easy access to the upper frets without sacrificing tonal depth thanks to the 12-fret-to-the-body design, giving a warmer, bassier sound. The Canadian Sitka spruce top, paired with rosewood back and sides, makes for a warm, detailed voice.
The mahogany neck, with a 24 3/4” scale length and a 1-13/16” nut width has a reasonably small profile, making for a near classical like feel. Mother-of-pearl and abalone inlays, along with a bound headstock and wood body binding round off this guitar’s great look and elegant feel.
These guitars don’t surface often, so come get it while you can! This particular example comes loaded with an older, dual-source L.R. Baggs iMix pickup.
This guitar is in quite good condition for being nearly 20 years old, with not many signs of use.
Comes with the original hardshell case.
