Glenn Schoales

Glenn was born in New York, moved to Nova Scotia, and at age 19, he attended Guitar Research and Design Center with guitar builder Charles Fox. In 1985, Glenn moved to Burlington, Vermont, where he started Schoales Guitars, a repair and custom building shop, which he owned for 14 years. As his business grew, he began training apprentices for high school work study programs. He attended the NAMM Show with Schoales Guitars in 1990. In 1998, he moved to Nashville to work for Gibson Custom shop in the Pro Shop. He repaired artist's guitars, built custom "art guitars," designed and built NAMM Show guitars and specialized in custom inlay. In 2005 Glenn started working with Gruhn Guitars in Nashville and he comes to us with over 30 years of experience. He moved to Colorado in 2011 to work at the Pickin' Parlor, and loves to go skiing or golfing on his days off. He is also new to the local gold panning and gems/minerals scene.

Glenn is available at the shop Monday through Friday
