Originally introduced in 1987 as the Axis, this guitar was unveiled as an early prototype, and by happenstance, country picking legend Albert Lee was present, and swooped in and snatched the model for himself. The Axis went on to be another model, and this spiky 22 fret, ash body Strat-alike went on to be associated with Lee till this day.

This model, the SSS model, from 2007 is in great shape, with only a few marks on the finish. The neck is “speed necked”, with the finish having been sanded off. There is an unknown logo underneath the finish, presumably making this guitar a prize for some sort of event.
