2001 Parker MIDIFly

$2,950.00

This USA made Parker Nightfly, built in 2001, before the company was acquired by the U.S. Music Corporation, is the ultimate in Neo-modern guitar design, with the original production Parker guitar shipping in 1993 but designed in 1986, with a Back To The Future-esque design that has been divisive over time, to say the least.

This example is equipped with MidiAxe, allowing for control of time based MIDI devices, which turns on automatically when a cable is inserted into the “smart jack”, allowing for mono or stereo out to accommodate the piezo pickup. The extra switch by the knobs allows for a magnetic/blend/piezo combination, which can either be sent to the same amp or to two separate outputs. This control setup is accented by the Strat-style 5-way switch, exclusively for the magnetic pickups.

The controls on the upper horn are MIDI controls, a volume, a MIDI mode switch and an octave control.

The bridge features Parker’s own designed aluminum saddles, on top of a built in Piezo pickup. The body and neck are, believe it or not, solid mahogany, which make for extremely stable tuning and a very comfortable, lightweight feel.

This guitar is one of the best playing electrics we have in the store.

Comes with a hard case.
